January 1, 200917 yr  The refs couldn't blow their whistles enough in the game, but swallowed them on that last play... Classic. In my opinion that wasn't a foul, T Will just made a strong move and ended it with a very weak lay up.
January 1, 200917 yr David Padgett isn't walking through that door. Is it panic mode for the Final Four bound Cards?
January 1, 200917 yr Might as well have the curfew. They'll need the energy for, I'm betting, 3 practices on New Years day.
January 1, 200917 yr The game was terrible all around. What caught my eye was the classless move by Rick leaving the gym and not shaking hands with the UNLV coaches or players. No excuses Pitino is a class less individual.

January 1, 200917 yr Not good for UL, going into a rivalry game against UK. UL losing is worse news for UK than it is UL when talking about Sunday's game....
January 1, 200917 yr UL losing is worse news for UK than it is UL when talking about Sunday's game.... I've never understood why some people think it's actually good to LOSE a game before a big game. Makes ZERO sense to me.
January 1, 200917 yr 1. The play at the end was NOT a foul, the defenders played him straight up. 2. That was in no way good for UL to lose going into a rivalry game, that just boosts UK's confidence even more. 3. We all remember what happen last time Meeks was in Freedom Hall....
January 1, 200917 yr UL losing is worse news for UK than it is UL when talking about Sunday's game.... Why? Are they just going to flip a switch and be a good team all of a sudden?
January 1, 200917 yr 3. We all remember what happen last time Meeks was in Freedom Hall.... Against the powerhouse that is Appy State.
January 1, 200917 yr Bah. I don't like to see a loss like this, but it happens. You can call me the Rockpride of UofL basketball, because despite the losses, I am NOT worried just yet.
January 1, 200917 yr You can't call that on a last second shot.... Most of the time that's true. But, the refs didn't have a problem with it when Patrick Sparks walked, stepped on the out of bounds line (no foul called), and took a last second three point shot when UK played UL in Freedom Hall. The refs called Myles for a foul on Sparks and the crowd stood and watched Sparks take 3 free throws to beat UL.
