UNLV 56 Louisville 55

It's unusual for Pitino to not be competely gracious in defeat. I always have liked that about him. I honestly think he was furious, and maybe so furious he wasn't thinking, or needed to just walk away. I don't think he had anything against the UNLV coach, I think it was his players that had him all hoppin' mad.

I think you are right. I don't think I can ever remember him not shaking hands after a game. But then again he is getting older and maybe he just forgot.:D

It's been a long time since I've seen Pitino that mad at his own team during a game. I'm still not worried yet with this team but it's getting to crunch time and they need to pick it up. UofL played AWFUL and yet still could have won the game on the last possession. Their shooting woes are killing them right now, I never expected this team to shoot this poorly this year.

Lon Kruger is an excellent coach. I think he took both Florida and Illinois to the Final Four. I attended this game and was afraid he would come in and have his team play a smart game (ala WKU) versus UL. The Cards are a rudderless ship on the court. They have no identity and are terribly inefficient Maybe things will improve as the season wears on.

Bah.

I don't like to see a loss like this, but it happens. You can call me the Rockpride of UofL basketball, because despite the losses, I am NOT worried just yet.:D

Now, come around for football and enjoy the benefits down the road :D

I have no idea of what happened, but if he didn't stick around for the hand shake, there is NO excuse whatsoever. I am no Pitino fan, it's just another level of low that he has accomplished.
