I guess the answer to being #1 (via Calpreps) is to play a weak schedule, beat those teams badly and lo and behold you get the ranked *1!

Please help me with that one. How do other states see us? Seems we deliver quite a few whoopin's against teams from other states. I suppose I don't know what you mean.

??? KY's high school teams look awfully powerful in tournaments throughout the country...even the lesser teams often advance pretty darn far...

And a 10-point loss to a team that was rated about two points ahead of them. It's safe to say that Elliott will drop a bit.

 

None of it matters, really. Elliott won't prove it belongs to a lot of people until they take on some of the best teams in Kentucky. Unfortunately, Elliott didn't put the schedule together with that in mind.
