December 28, 200817 yr The injury took place as the Steelers led 7-0 in the second quarter, it happened as Browns LB Willie McGinest took down Roethlisberger and his head hit off the turf. The franchise QB did move his hands and legs, but had to be carted off the field after he was strapped to a stretcher.
December 28, 200817 yr Not that it means all that much but they said he gave them a thumbs up as he was carted off.
December 28, 200817 yr I bet he'll be fine. If not, Byron is no slouch. Other than he throws 5yd patterns 94mph. I don't see any Rolex's in our offensive linemen's futures.
December 28, 200817 yr Clean hit, with one hitting high and other low. Drove him into the ground on his back and he was down for 15 min. or so. Medical personnel attended, removed face mask and left on helmet. Placed him on a stretcher and took off, via cart. He did give thumbs up, as entering the tunnel.
December 28, 200817 yr Just said it was a concussion. Shoot, he hit a Chrysler Lebaron a couple of years back. This is no big deal in comparison.
December 28, 200817 yr  What is there to roll your eyes at? Why was he playing? You don't see Peyton in the game in the 2nd quarter.
December 28, 200817 yr What is there to roll your eyes at? Why was he playing? You don't see Peyton in the game in the 2nd quarter. He won't get it.
December 28, 200817 yr What is there to roll your eyes at? Why was he playing? You don't see Peyton in the game in the 2nd quarter. And if it would have happened in the first quarter it would have been the same thing. No issue, make it what you want.
December 28, 200817 yr What is there to roll your eyes at? Why was he playing? You don't see Peyton in the game in the 2nd quarter. Was it a bad idea when the Giants played their starters for the entire game last year vs. the Pats on week 17?
December 28, 200817 yr Was it a bad idea when the Giants played their starters for the entire game last year vs. the Pats on week 17? Completely different, they were doing that to try to stop the perfect season.
