Roethlisberger Hurt in 2nd Quarter of Cleveland Game

Featured Replies

It changes their playoff position if he's watching in street clothes, or worse, from a hospital bed.

He won't be.

Hopefully not. It doesn't sound like it anyway.:thumb:

1 quarter, 2 quarters, not much difference, neither could change their teams playoff position.

He's been sacked about a million times this year. They tested fate and lost. Hope he's OK, but it's beyond stupid to have him in for more than a drive or two against the Browns...

Staff and Ben all decided that (including Ben) he'd play a half. Stupid or not, it's what they all decided. I haven't seen anyone before the fact say otherwise.

Which makes it the right decision I guess?

Obviously... ;)

Yep. He goes 12 for 30 in 2 weeks and they lose the first round playoff game, same suspects are on here saying that he should have had some snaps today so he wouldn't have had 3 weeks of down time. So, the geniuses here are never wrong, because they don't have to make these decisions, only give their opinions after the fact and of course, then are always right.

I doubt 2 quarters of playing today would affect his performance positively or negatively 2 weeks from now.

If it means anything at all, the Steelers fans I've talked to are mad he was playing.

Is there a bigger Drama Queen in professional sports?

The week of film and preparation and snaps in practice and the game speed would have helped. We'll never know will we?

So it's revisionist history to KNOW he was sacked more than any QB in the NFL? This is HB20 level spin cycle...

More like he took(takes) advantage of it!:flame:

Has your QB had surgery yet? If the sacks played into the thought process he'd have been out for the past 2 weeks, that simply wasn't going to happen.
