Thoughts....predictions?

 

Scott seems to be playing well away from home with wins over Corbin, Potomac (va) and Pendleton County.

It will be a tough game, but I'll take Coach Carr's Scott team in a very closely contested ballgame - 62-57

What was the score of the Scott/Pendleton game?

I'm taking Scott in this one. They're playing very well as of late.

I hope Scott wins, but beating South Laurel down there is always hard.

I agree...hard to beat them in thier own tourney. Like you I want a 10th region team to win.:thumb:

I dont think Scott will have an answer for St.John but you never know. Scott has been playing well as of late.

I guess it must be a secret. I haven't heard a score on this game anywhere and would like to know myself.:confused:

Too much Matt in this game. St John, Watkins & Gilbert. I think Scott will compete and give the Cardinals a GREAT game, but St John is starting to hit his stride and owning the middle.

Everything seems to lean South Laurel's way in this matchup, such as:

1. Home court advantage

2. Coach Wright will get the benefit of the doubt on most of the calls.

3. Scott has had to travel several times.

4. South Laurel has had a much easier path to the finals.

I wouldn't exactly say St. John has that big of an advantage in the middle. Scott has a 6'8 kid that will force him to work hard.
