This could be the best film ever, but I have no desire to see it. Listening to Clint Eastwood in the trailors totally turned me off...I cannot stand his grainy, whispery voice.

 

But if you've ever spoken to 70+ year old veterans, many DO talk like that.

Pretty much, I'm not a huge movie guy but I really can't tell you why it's been so long. After looking it I think it's been a shorter time span, Friday Night Lights was my last in '04. Prior to that it was '01 with Harry Potter, and prior to that The Grinch in 2000.

 

For some reason I'm very intrigued by this one, and can't wait to down some popcorn.

 

 

I don't go to the theaters either. I hate them! I pay a bunch for admission, then concessions, then people talk and walk in front of me throughout the movie. I just wait...

 

Now...to this movie...Am I the only one who can't stand to listen to Clint Eastwood talk?

Ha!! Must be a girl thing...Doesn't seem to bother any of the guys.

Just saw the movie tonite myself, thought it was good. The one I want to see now is TAKEN, it looks like it might be even better. But it is hard to beat Clint, he's a mans man, always has been.

 

 

I have seen it. It is very good. Liam kicks butt and takes some names.

Very possibly a top 5 movie I have seen.

MrRk and I went to see this movie this afternoon and we both LOVED it. I thought it showed someone with a big heart when no one thought he had one at all. I left the movie crying.

Just got back from seeing the movie. Excellent. Archie Bunker would be proud...............

Anyone who is writing this movie off is cheating themself out of two good hours.
