I heard about this movie 2 days ago. I just saw the trailer a couple of minutes ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9teLeXZ3XMU

I can't remember being this excited to see a movie in many, many years. This is going to be one HECK of a movie.

What are the rules for R rated movies? Can an adult buy a ticket for their child if the child is going to see it with them?

Yep. I believe its "adult supervision required."

I think this movie looks very good as well. Seems like some pretty good movies coming out this Christmas break.

I've been looking forward to this one as well, I actually started a thread about this a few months ago.

I haven't been to the theatre in about seven or eight years, but I'm planning on going to this one.

Really? You just wait until the movie has been out a while and then rent it? I don't go to a lot but I do enjoy a good movie in the theater.

Pretty much, I'm not a huge movie guy but I really can't tell you why it's been so long. After looking it I think it's been a shorter time span, Friday Night Lights was my last in '04. Prior to that it was '01 with Harry Potter, and prior to that The Grinch in 2000.

For some reason I'm very intrigued by this one, and can't wait to down some popcorn.

This movie is really, really good......

Just saw the movie tonight. It was very good, but I would stop short of calling it great. Make no doubt about it, it's well worth the price of admission and both wife and I enjoyed it a lot (frankly, I'd enjoy watching Eastwood read a paper). Maybe all the hype had me expecting a little too much. I will say this - it's got some absolutely hysterical parts to it, which I didn't expect. Clint does a great job, but he is finally starting to look very old. I hope he can do a couple of more movies before he has to call it quits.

We are going to see the movie tomorrow.

Clint should be looking old. I believe he is 78.

Oh, I agree. It just starts to put your own age into perspective when you think the toughest, baddest guy in the world (i.e., Clint, not me ;)) is looking rather old.

Just got back from seeing the movie. Excellent. Archie Bunker would be proud...............

I think I will go see it Sunday, it looks really good!
