I'd take Mason Co. any day of the week over GRC. Mason Co. is still a very good team without Miller and Setty. I've watched them play twice this season and was impressed with Middleton and King, both great players.

I'm also surprised they aren't even ranked (top 20). I'd bet Mason would spank Scott Co.

Had the pleasure to meet Euton after the game last night. Very nice young man.

This was a pretty entertaining game. Gary Ball always does a good job calling it as well. Anyways I believe Clark Co. will be very good by the end of the year. I still think they have some things to work out. Stenzel is an excellent player, but had problems against a player as athletic is Guyn. He will just get better and better. The 1-2 punch of Zollo and Rogers will also be very good. For Scott Co. they still have a long ways to go as well. But played better than they did against Holmes. The game got boring for a while in the 2nd qtr. It seemed like the refs took over for a little bit and called a lot of litttle stuff.

Hey I just wasn't impressed with Jackson in the early games I saw him or in the Holmes game.

 

Nothing to say about him in regards to this game. He and Euton both obviously got on track and played well after a lackluster performance a few days before. Good for both of them. They may take a lot regarding their play sometimes, but as individuals off the court, I've never once had something bad to say about them. Both are very nice young men and I had the opportunity of speaking to both of them on the side after the Holmes game in my post game interviews. :thumb:

Scott will be in the mix when March rolls around. Period.

Scott County needs to work on jelling as a team and not 5 individual players on the floor. GRC will get better once they come together playing as a team. GRC is close to that point. Zollo spent the biggest part of the summer nursing a broken foot and Williams spent the biggest part of the fall being one of the leading rushers in the state in football. And Stenzel missed 2 1/2 games with a knee injury.

Scott clearly had the better team last night! Hatton got a lot of early cheap fouls on him that really limited his play in the game. Stenzel was tired and played almost the entire 1st half. It all came down to Scott being a lot deeper than Clark as it seemed Coach Hicks was running players in and out of the game all night long. Like others have said, as the season progresses Clark will get better and be a force not only in the 10th region, but in the whole state!

It appeared to me that they came out and played harder. I actually thought Scott Co. played hard against Holmes in the 2nd half. GRC isn't the team Holmes is right now by any means, but I was just making a point about how hard they seem to play.
