This really hurt GRC ...also this isn't right I know that Ryan Williams had a layup.

I just put people that had more than five points. He ended with 4 points.

Just got in form the game. It was a 5 point ball game at the half and I like our chances. In the 3rd quarter we got down and to put it in plain english...just gave up....:irked: This is something we saw in pre-season scrimmages and had been working on. Cory Rogers kept us in the game. Vinny is looking better and more comfortable each game. He has to get more touches on the ball.

I really like the Manning kid for SC...he is a Freshman.

Congrts to SC they ahd a great game plan and it worked.

You're right.:ylsuper:

:thumb: Ryan played a great defensive game tonight. When Guyn fouled out...he went over and shook Ryans hand...I love to see mutual respect of players on the floor.

Has this guy lost his mind?

Rule #13

Stenzel looked out of shape to me. I know he has missed some time with an injury and I think his conditioning has suffered as a result. I saw him ask to come out of the game a couple of times and at one point, he missed five straight free throws. I thought Scott Co.'s depth was a major difference in this game.

When does Zollo come back?

He was never out! Robbie had been hurt and missed two and a half games but he is already back!

GRC missed WAY too many FTs also.

Amen brother...I ment to mention that eariler. Robbie Stenzel hardley ever misses FT. He is in not 100% from his injury and you could tell it tonight. I saw him after the game with a ice pack on his knee.

Agreed! Also SC couldn't miss a FT

Scott County shot 68% from the line. 15/22

Clark Co. shot 46 % from the line. 11/24

GRC went 5/15 in the second quarter. 4/7 in the 3rd and 2/2 in the 4th.

Does the KHSAA have a redshirt program?

They do in fact.

Kim Warfield a senior at Conner High School in the late 80's blew out her knee just prior to her senior season. The KHSAA granted here a "red-shirt" year, which she sat out from school and basketball, and rejoined the team as a senor in her fifth year of high school.

I'm sure that she met the age/eligibility requirements, but the precedent has been set.

Thanks for the stats...appreciate them.:thumb: I knew we missed alot. We usually hit much better than what we did tonight.

Guyn is a very good defensive player, probably the best I've seen this year. It took Robbie out of his game, and when he did get around Guyn there was always one or two more he had to go through. He did make some nice passes. He did seem tired. Corey Rogers played a good solid game and kept Clark in the game. He's getting rugged under the bucket. Vinny had a pretty good game in rebounding and with his outside shooting and Robert was also guarded pretty heavy and didn't have time to set for the three. I thought as a team, Clark did force a lot of shots and anticipated a foul and lost concentration on a lot of shots. Ryan did play a good defensive game. Free throws was a killer and I think a lot of that had to do with being so tired and maybe out of shape. Boy's missing free throws who hardly ever miss. I agree with Goldie, in the 3 quarter after Scott made a scoring spurt , it seem as though Clark just died. I did think Clark did get caught under the basket with no where to go with the ball way too many times. Clark played the same way last year at this time and during the Xmas break they came together and did super. Learning and hustle is the name of the game and learn to never give up. Scott has a very big, strong ,talented group of boys that will be difficult for anyone to beat with a good strong bench, something Clark doesn't have.:ylsuper:

I had the pleasure of sitting with Sportsguy at the game tonight. So glad you could make the game.:thumb:

Thanks! Nice seeing you all again. :thumb:

As disappointing as this loss may be to most, I think it is going to be very healthy in the long run. This is a great tool for coach Humphrey and his staff. The GRC players were embarrassed in the 2nd half of this game, they know that feeling and the feeling is a great motivator. It does not help with the sting of this game, but in the long run, this will pay huge dividends for this young team.

They have a couple of tournaments coming up that will help them regroup, but I look for a totally different team when they play Scott in early January.
