When does Zollo come back?

He started out at Flemming County. He started their as an 8th grader and then before his freshman year moved to Clark Co. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

 

Yes there was several that went to GRC with Robbie Graham,Hugh loss for Fleming there.

I'd take Mason Co. any day of the week over GRC. I'd bet Mason would spank Scott Co.

Just got in form the game. It was a 5 point ball game at the half and I like our chances. In the 3rd quarter we got down and to put it in plain english...just gave up....:irked: This is something we saw in pre-season scrimmages and had been working on. Cory Rogers kept us in the game. Vinny is looking better and more comfortable each game. He has to get more touches on the ball.

I really like the Manning kid for SC...he is a Freshman.

I'm also surprised they aren't even ranked (top 20). I'd bet Mason would spank Scott Co.

Corey didn't even play organized basketball until the 7th grade at Fleming Co. I am shocked at how far he has come. He seems to be playing very well. I agree that he could be one of the tops in the state before long. It was a big loss for Fleming but I wish him well. I don't remember him having any older brothers but he has two younger ones that could turn into pretty good footballers as well!

How much is GRC missing Travis Purvis right now? Would he have been enough to possibly get GRC over the hump and kept this one close or even helped win the game?

Purvis would have put this team over the top IMO. Losing a solid 6'8" player would hurt any team and he will be a force when he is healthy. Does the KHSAA have a redshirt program?:lol:

You are right on Cory about playing organized ball. He is going to be a great one. He started last year at center as a Freshman. He has improved alot from last year and he will continue to improve. This GRC team is young..made some mental mistakes tonight...youth will do that. I have seen improvement in each of our games. I still like our chances to win the 10th region.

Travis would have made a HUGE difference. I really think we would have won had he been playing.

I agree losing Travis for the whole year really hurt GRC this year.
