Are Beechwood's Freshman as good at baseball as they are football?

Scott will have alot of talent at the Freshman level this year and next. Scott had about 4 or 5 7th graders last year that saw alot of action at the Freshman level and they performed pretty well.

Scott freshmen hasn't done to well in the games i've played them. Pitching isn't too solid and hitting needs some improvement.

Dayton Has very good talent at the freshman level and so does NCC with Highchew

Brady Asher has to be one of the best pitchers in the freshman class, Hillard plays SS, Tyler York is one of the best CF out there and Tyler Plageman catches, all of these guys are playing JV at Lloyd.

Won't even be the best on Holy Cross. Guidugli will be HC best player. Elliott of Ryle will be the best, followed by Highchew at NCC.

Kyle Fuller has not played on the Freshman team, he has been with the Varsity more than 60% of the time, while pitching in the All "A" State quarter-finals. He has pitched some good innings while with varsity. :thumb:

At All "A" State the radar was showing 82mph!:notworthy:

The kid has some stuff and has great potential.:dancingpa

Cody Hurley and Issac Alger from Williamstown. Both started Varsity last year as 8th graders. Both are starting pitchers and play multiple positions at the varsity level. Both are hitting around the .400 mark.

What about Boone County do they have any good freshman?

Doug Teegarten for Boone is a Freshman pitcher/Short Stop. He pitches at the varsity level and I believe he has 4 wins if not more this year. He is a legitimate player to watch.

I would say Freshman Kyle Fuller From Holy Cross has to be the best Freshman pitcher, he has 3 varsity appearances (one was in the all "A") and has a 0.000 ERA for varsity and 5 appearances in JV with a 1.03 ERA. Elliot is good but not a best freshman.

I saw that and he hit it consistently. Fuller will be a stud and I say he will grow 2 or 3 more inches.

I would like to see Holy Cross and Lloyd JV play, Fuller against Asher. Brady Asher is 6-1 with an ERA under 1.0 for the Juggs JV this year. He is right around 80 with a great change up. Does anyone know who Fuller plays for in the summer?

those kids are real good watch for them solid ball team

Any updates from the Freshman tourney?

Brady Highchew, from Newport Catholic, is a great athlete. He has excelled in football, basketball, and is having a great freshman campaign this baseball season. He has a great bat, good speed and could very well push for varsity time nest season. :ylsuper:
