SK is not the best team in NKY, Highlands is. No secret, duhh. And Trinity is better than Highlands IMO. So common sense would say that SK is going to get kicked by Trinity. But some of Trinity's fans seem super overconfident and if that is how the team comes out then I sincerely hope SK takes advantage and takes it to them. Anything can happen and SK CAN be the best team on the field that night and that is all that matters.

As for T, they beat Lafayette a LOT worse, have NEVER lost to Boone (in something like 8 meetings) and Conner would not score 41 on them.

They shouldn't have stomped the "T".

I think Simon Kenton is a very good football team and they have had a great season, but I would take every single Northern KY team and rank them ahead of SK. Highlands is the elite of NKY (like most years). Beechwood & NCC are both more or less even this year I think (even though NCC beat Beechwood). Then I think Simon Kenton comes bringing up the rear. Nothing to be ashamed of behind those teams. You are talking about probabley 3 of the 10 most successful programs in the history of Kentucky high school football. Nothing at all wrong with being behind those schools, seeing as just about every other school is also.

I remember a thread where a Highlands fan was saying how bad NKY 6A was this year. SK being in the State final just proves how evenly matched the 6A teams (with the exception of new Cooper High) were this year. The same cannot be said for NKY 5A.

Agreed. NKY 6A was very even this year and NKY 5A was as bad as it has been in a long time. I think Highlands having a couple of tough matches in the playoffs is further proof that perhaps NKY 5A was not that good this year. Everyone expected Highlands to walk into the finals and that has not been the case at all.

So, based on your thoughts and vote nobody should vote for SK because if they are it is along party lines?

In general terms, we all want our opinion to matter whether it is BGP or anywhere in life. However, if you are one of those voters that votes along "party lines" in these polls you run the risk of tarnishing your credibility when you are trying to be objective on other topics.
