December 3, 200817 yr Alabama Larry's thread got me on this subject. We have all given bad gifts and we have all recieved bad gifts. What are some of your experiences with bad gifts? For me, I bought my wife (my girlfriend at the time) a laundry hamper. I believe she was expecting an engagement ring :lol: I never realized how traumatized she was by this until I realized her nickname to some of her colleagues is "Hamper." Hey, she said she needed a laundry hamper, and so I delivered.

December 3, 200817 yr Let's see... One year we gave my mother a beautifully wrapped dried out pickle. No idea why other than it was funny. When my brother turned 16, my grandmother got him a toy plastic helicopter. My mother gave me the book Fit at 40. I think she was trying to tell me something. This year I'm hoping to receive Fat at 50.
