The QB for Seneca (DaMarcus Brown I think his name is) is very good. Good arm, good poise and very elusive.

Linebacker for Western Hills - #7. Has decent size (listed at 6'2", 195 lbs - but good frame to add 20-30 lbs) and good instincts. Is a tough and hard-nosed kid. He broke his thumb (1st game) and shattered his forefinger (3rd game), had to have screws and a pin to stablize shattered finger; but did not miss a game. Played entire season with left hand in a cast. Had over 100 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 2 INT and 3 fumble recoveries.

Alex Abner- RB/ S Pulaski County(pick your poison) Very dangerous anytime he touched the ball, whether on offense, defense, or special teams. Had TDs rushing, receiving, kickoff, & Int returns. Can lay a hit on defense too. Outstanding all around player.

Derek Jackson- RB Somerset (Fast & Strong) Can run around, over, or through you... doesn't matter to him. May be the best of some good young players @ SHS.

Zack Fowler-LB Southwestern (Defensive Beast) Could be one the all-time greats at SW by the time it's all said & done. That's saying a lot considering the talent that has come out of that school.

Boyle Co. has four impact sophomores that will help lead the team next year.

Lamar Dawson(MLB/TE)

Bryan Ferrel(OLB)

Chris Cook(OLB/RB)

Paul Meggiligan(DT).

All four of these sophmores have played and started for the Rebels(13-0)season.

Chris Kelly NCC, very good player with determination and a motor that never stops if you haven't seen him play try to catch a game next year he is something to watch.

 

Agreed, Chris Kelly, little brother to senior RB Mark Kelly from NewCath.

Chris should have some great progress through the years if no injuries come into play. 6' and at 192, (mite be a little off). But this kid is one great RB.

Just needs to put on some weight and bulk up some. This kid has all the making of a really great athlete in the future, really fast 40 time, very intellegent, and had the heart and the spirit of a true champion.

Corey Lyle, RB Greenup County put up some great rushing numbers this year and looks to be even better in the future.

Grayson and Kitchen from Greenup County, both young strong lineman, will be a force to be reckoned with the next two years. I really believe GCHS's sophomore class has a lot of talent, just need the right coach to bring it to the top.

Mason County has several sophomores who may be impact players next year other than the quarterback. A couple of big linemen, plus some receivers, fullback, and linebackers.

Trey Cain - K/P 6' 160 started the last 2 years

Zac Brown - TE/LB 6'3" started this year

Dakota Blanton OL/DL 6'7" started this year as well
