Oklahoma jumps Texas in BCS rankings.

Yeah, so you have to take out the head to head matchups, because all 3 can claim robbery. If you like at the entire body of work, OU was the easy choice.

Texas Tech CANNOT claim robbery after losing by 200 points to Oklahoma. I know OU is one of the better teams in the country when playing AT HOME. But you lose any right to argue when you get beat like they did.

So Tech is out of the argument, that leaves two and we saw what happened when they played.

In what was basically a home game for Texas....

Texas got beat by that team that got embarrassed by the Sooners. If that loss throws Tech out the window, then any team they beat shouldn't have a chance.

If you watch football it's fairly obvious that OU is better than Texas.

 I dont have an opinion on the situation they got out in the Mid West because I guess all 3 have somewhat of a case. I do not like a team who doesn't win the conf. championship getting in.

No, it wasn't. You apparently missed the Texas OU game then.

Looking at the entire body of work, you may be right. However, Texas knocked out OU in the middle of the ring and they both end up 12-1. I think OU is probably the better team but Texas did it on the field. Im sure the championship will be Florida v OU but Texas sure has a legitimate gripe!

That's what you have to do. This wasn't a tie between Texas and Oklahoma.

UC and TCU really helped OU in the computers. Likely came down to OOC and the Sooners had more meat to their resume...

This helped but I think the biggest plate of meat was beating Tech badly late in the season.

In the human polls I agree. I was talking merely about OU getting that final push by the computers to pass UT. Couple UC and TCU helping OU and Mizzou falling to Kansas hurting Texas and there you go...

Agreed.

OU and Florida the best possible match up

Fairly Obvious?

Didnt Texas beat Oklahoma by 10 in Dallas?:sssh:

Yup...

So the only way Texas gets in is with a Mizzou loss, correct?

That's what you have to do. This wasn't a tie between Texas and Oklahoma.

Doesn't it only count on the field?
