December 24, 200817 yr Boston sets franchise record 19 straight wins. This team is amazing. I like a lot of the players on the Celtics...but I really hope that they don't top 72 wins.
December 24, 200817 yr I like a lot of the players on the Celtics...but I really hope that they don't top 72 wins. They have the record for 29 games right now, with a 27-2 record.
December 24, 200817 yr Rockets trade Francis to Grizzlies for draft pick http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3792265 Nearly a decade after he was reluctantly drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies, Steve Francis is going to the Memphis Grizzlies. Yet it remains to be seen whether the injury-plagued guard -- who convinced Vancouver to trade him to the Houston Rockets before he ever played an NBA game -- makes it onto the court in Memphis. The Grizzlies acquired Francis on Wednesday in a trade with the Rockets in exchange for a conditional second-round pick in 2011. The trade also calls for Memphis to re-acquire a 2009 second-rounder which it had dealt to Houston on draft day in June and for the Rockets, according to NBA front-office sources, to pay the remainder of Francis' $2.6 million salary for this season.
December 25, 200817 yr Ok so I completly forgot Steve Fancis even existed til he was traded. I did as well.
December 25, 200817 yr Lakers V Celtics tomorrow in a finals rematch/(preview). I can't wait for this one. Going to be a great game, and I expect the Celtics to win. Rondo's emergence this season has put them on a whole different level than everyone else IMO.
January 3, 200917 yr Kobe (40), Pau power Lakers to 5th straight win http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=290102013 LeBron's triple-double lifts Cavs http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=290102005
January 3, 200917 yr ^ Lucky. I hope to attend a Cavs or Pacers game at some point this year. Corporate Lux box. Lower arena. Totally cool!! For my 1st ever NBA game, I think I may be spoiled:lol:
January 5, 200917 yr Cavs lose to the Wizards. Lebron called for a travel on a play with 2 seconds to go. It was the right call IMO. He took 3 steps. Big Z is out 3-4 weeks. Thats bad news for the Cavs. They are pretty average without him IMO.
