All 3rd championship on players. All of MJ's teams before that were bad.. We must also remember MJ played before the 90s and put up huge numbers before Pippen..

Well maybe you should have been more specific in you're initial posts.

Kukoc was never the player he was suppose to be. And he missed the first 3 'ships.

The Bulls later years were very good teams, first 3 championships were not.

A 13 PPG 6th man isn't bad... Regardless of whether it was what he was supposed to be or not.

the first 3 years were fine teams... Definitely not terrible.

My apologies..

When did Jordan get Pippen??? Are we forgetting Jordan was great in the 80s as well..

Jordan did the same thing LJ is doing before Pippen showed up.. Jordan had no help before Pippen..

Lebron has time to find his Pippen, and become on of the greatest..

Just 3 seasons after he came into the league...

He wasn't suppose to be a 6th man however, he was suppose to be the man..

I'll give you not terrible but they were very average teams..

Just 3 seasons after he came into the league...

87-88 season.. MJ had monster years before that, Injuries dampered some of those years.

But it doesn't matter what he was "supposed" to be... What matters is what he was. A guy who came off the bench and gave 13/4/4 night in and night out, with an occasional explosive performance. Just because he didn't live up to the hype doesn't mean he wasn't exactly what they needed.

Anyways, I'm off. Gotta be up for work sooner than later.

PMIC, last time I checked Jordan didnt win title 1 until Pippen got the Windy City.

And what is everyone's argument about Kobe being better than LeBron? Come on, honestly people. Gasol, Odom, Bynum, Fisher, Ariza, Vujacic, Farmar and Walton is still a playoff team with out Kobe.

Is Delonte West, Mo Williams, Wally, Z, Wallace, JJ Hickson and Gibson is a team that gets beat by OKC by 40 and is already debating on who to take with the #1 pick in the draft: Griffin or Curry. Get real. If you're not willing to admit he's not better than Jordan, the evidence for him to be a better player than Kobe is insurmountable.

There's a reason LeBron is a ahead of Kobe in almost every statistical category today: He's a better player.

I wouldn't classify a year of averaging 23 ppg as being "monster".

Actually MJ and Pippen didn't win one until years after they were both there..

28 ppg as a 21 year old rookie? Isn't monster..

He was hurt the next year I believe. Either knee or ankle..

Sorry, an average 23 ppg for MJ..

Not arguing the rest of you're statements but could the reason be for the bolded be because of the pleyer's you mentioned already for Cleveland? Does LeBron have better numbers because there is no one else on the team worth speaking of???

Did I say 28 ppg was not monster? Must have missed that one...

Downplaying it by commenting on a horrendous 23 ppg on a bum (cant think of what he hurt, terrible I know) made it sound that way.

Jordans teams average? Hmm, didn't the Jordan-less Bulls take the Knicks to game 7 in 1994? That was the same Knicks who were one game away from being the champions that same season against the Rockets.

Early championship teams had Pippen (top 30 player all-time), Bill Carwright who would eat up most bigs playing today, Horace Grant who was an above average PF, BJ Armstrong and Paxon. Thats not a bad line up, not the best in the NBA, but not scrubs. Not many teams in the 90's had better supporting cast then that.

The late championship teams had Pippen in his prime, Rodman, Kukoc who made the way for the Dirk Nowitzki's and such to play in the NBA, Luc Longley who would be a top not Center today as their are only a handful around right now or in any era, Ron Harper and Steve Kerr who weren't too bad in their roles.

It's safe to say that LeBron has never had that kind of talent much less a Pippen type or even a Rodman. The best player he's played with is either Larry Hughes or Mo Williams......That is sad. And the Cavs are still one of the best teams in the league. And this is a great era for basketball. Kobe couldn't/wouldn't win with this team. If you give LeBron even Lamar Odom or Michael Redd he would win the title let alone the caliber player that Pippen was. If Kobe's superiorness is based on titles it should be known that he played with the most dominant big man of all-time and maybe the best Center in Shaq. Even MJ didn't have that kind of help.

The Lakers were heavy favorites last year and couldn't get it done against an aging Celtics team. C'mon this ain't KG, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen from 2001. LeBron atleast pushed the series to 7, by himself. He does everything by himself. I think he may be forced to eventually win a title by himself. If you put a player of Pippens caliber with him they would win titles from now until he retired. Imagine what LeBron would do with Brandon Roy or T-Mac. Or what he could do with Amare or Dwight Howard. D-wade, Derron Williams, Chris Paul. Those are the type of talents that Scottie Pippen and Shaq are. Actually, you'd probably need two of those to make up for the impact that Shaq had in his prime.

It's right there in front of your eyes. LeBron is better than Kobe, it's not opinion it's fact. I have given them to you. Give me an explanation to why Kobe's better....YOU CAN'T DO IT!! Stats don't lie. And you don't even have to look at them.

For instance, Kobe cried last year that the team wasn't good enough and he wanted to be traded. LeBron was happy for the minimal upgrade that was Mo Williams!!! Don't even start the LBJ's gonna leave stuff. He's gonna be out of his rookie contract and he should be paid. And I think he'll stay in Cleveland. Their cap will be better then and they'll be in position to add a big name star.

Comparing LBJ and Kobe is like comparing Shaq in his prime to Dwight Howard. Sure Dwight is a nice player and a potential hall of famer, but he in no way resembles the force that was "the Diesel" in the paint. Kobe is a nice player, but to me LeBron is easily better, and I'd go as far as to say that Chris Paul or Dwayne Wade aren't much behind Kobe.
