January 21, 200917 yr Not arguing the rest of you're statements but could the reason be for the bolded be because of the pleyer's you mentioned already for Cleveland? Does LeBron have better numbers because there is no one else on the team worth speaking of??? It would be if LeBron was a ball hog. Honestly, if he had a more Kobe like attitude his stats would be even bigger. The stats that the rest of the team has are LeBron's charity, such as hitting a player for a wide open 3.
January 21, 200917 yr What a ridiclious debate, some of you are wayyyy off. Let's see you're opinion in depth.
January 21, 200917 yr Let's see you're opinion in depth. I'm going to bed right now but I have stated it many times in depth. Maybe tomorrow. Start a poll to see who people think is better. There will be some FACTS for you Cats.
January 21, 200917 yr For the record, as I have stated before, I think Kobe is the best offensive player of all time, scoring wise.
January 21, 200917 yr I am still not buying the whole "LeBron has never had a supporting cast" argument and that Kobe is surrounded with great players but cannot get it done. Both are outstanding players that by there presence are able to elevate the games of their teammates. Just how Jordan did. Pippen is not near a top 30 player without MJ. Both the Cavs and Lakers have put together a supporting cast to their superstar player that works tremendously with their talents. If anything, I think Kobe would benefit a lot more with a Pippen type player than LeBron would. Remember, Pippen was the primary floor general for the Bulls' teams. That is what LeBron is with the Cavs right now.
January 21, 200917 yr I'm going to bed right now but I have stated it many times in depth. Maybe tomorrow. Start a poll to see who people think is better. There will be some FACTS for you Cats. Facts? By people who are easily swayed by the media and the same people who try to compare Jodie Meeks to Steff Curry or said that Chuck Hayes was a great college basketball player? Real factual right there. Now I have stated my reasons for why LeBron is better than Kobe, and I haven't said that you have to consider him better than Jordan yet, though I think it's possible that he could be when its all said and done. We can debate this but you guys have to give me more than Kobe is just better. That doesn't prove anything. From watching the two, their not even close, statistically there not even close. LeBron only trails in titles and he'll get there, he's only 24 and if he could get there with that team two years ago he can take this years crop to the 'ship again possibly. What besides shooting jumpers does Kobe do better? Find me something. LeBron is looking like Jordan by making the best of what he's got and turning them into a contender. Kobe couldn't do it and didn't want to do it when he had a chance. And Bugatti, I agree with you a little bit. His game would appear to benefit more, but his personality wouldn't allow it. He was mad when he wasn't the captain of the USA Team!! Let alone sharing the spotlight with another player, remember how Shaq was. If O'Neal had never went to L.A. I don't think Kobe would even be in the coversation, that is really the only reason anyone gives him Jordan like props. Sure he is a money player most of the time in the clutch but so was Robert Horry and Reggie Miller (HOF I know, but not Jordan), and LeBron's getting there. Kobe's got the perfect team for him right now, a bunch of talented players who want him to take the last shot. And, I will say LeBron's cast fits him okay for now. They have some shooters, but if LeBron is off the Cavs couldn't win in the playoffs. Kobe could have 15 in the finals, and it's possible that Gasol or someone would step up and pick up the slack.
January 21, 200917 yr ^ You are so wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start. let's hear your reasoning. All I have heard from you is that Cats and I are both wrong. But that's it. Back it up, bring something new to the table.
January 22, 200917 yr ^ Let me eat dinner first this make take a minute. Well I am excited to hear your statistical analysis of how Kobe is better than LeBron. I dont want to hear about Michael Jordan, because I can take that. But Kobe? LeBron has overtaken him.
January 22, 200917 yr ^ Let me eat dinner first this make take a minute. Well eat up and lets hear what you've got to say. Honestly, I think I should be the one making fun of you though. I've given my reasons, so I'll wait to hear yours.:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa:banana::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn: I've got my popcorn ready
January 22, 200917 yr Well I am excited to hear your statistical analysis of how Kobe is better than LeBron. I dont want to hear about Michael Jordan, because I can take that. But Kobe? LeBron has overtaken him. How? He can't shoot from deep and he has no killer instinct..
January 22, 200917 yr AAAAHAAHAHAHAHAHA I had a huge post and I hit the back button. This will take a minute to fix.
January 22, 200917 yr You guys want to sit there and say Lebron's teammates are comparable which just isn't true. But then if his teammates are so bad he should have better numbers correct? You can't have it both ways. When Kobe had a bad team he put up crazy numbers.
