December 1, 200817 yr Please tell me someone seen Lebrons block Saturday night? He put it 30 rows into the stands.
December 2, 200817 yr The Lakers are just stupid good right now. 14-1 just crushing teams. I said it earlier, but man they are put together to win a whole bunch of games. They're at least 10 deep and can play any style of game. If the game is close at the end they have the best finisher. If healthy I'd be shocked if they don't get to 70 wins.

If the game is close at the end they have the best finisher. If healthy I'd be shocked if they don't get to 70 wins. I could see them doing it. Why don't they just let them and the Celtics play a 7 game series now for the title.
December 2, 200817 yr Knicks banish Marbury after failed talks http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3736322 In a statement, Walsh said: "After meeting with Stephon and his representative this afternoon, we have directed Stephon not to participate in practice or attend games until further notice. We want to continue to meet with him to discuss a long-term resolution." A source briefed on the discussions told ESPN.com there is "no timetable for anything going forward," adding that a speedy resolution seemed unlikely with the sides far apart financially. "[We'll] try to keep this in-house and so no comment at this time," Biagas said. "We'll keep you posted as things happen." _________________ Power Rankings: Blazers break into top 5 http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/powerranking?season=2009&week=5 1) Celts 2) Lakers 3) Cavs 4) Blazers 5) Nuggets 8) Spurs 10) Hornets 13) Pistons 30) Thunder
December 2, 200817 yr No way should the Spurs be 8.Why? It seems about right to me. They have played the majority of the season without Parker and Ginobili at full strength. Once they were thrown in to the rotation, they have gotten better.
December 2, 200817 yr Derrick Rose and OJ Mayo named NBA Rookies of the Month. basketball.realgm.com/src_wire...okies_of_month/ Couldn't get your link to work. Here's another from the Grizzlies site regarding Mayo: http://www.nba.com/grizzlies/news/mayo_named_rookie_of_the_month-081201.html
December 2, 200817 yr I could see them doing it. Why don't they just let them and the Celtics play a 7 game series now for the title. The Celts will have to deal w/ Lebron and company and I think Cleveland will add a piece or two by the trade dealine. The Lakers will have to deal w/ two tough series out west more than likely, but you're right it looks like a rematch is on the horizon.
