I'm happy they are playing before the State Championship because Trinity and St. X get to keep all the revenues from the game. The regular season matchup funds the athletic department at both schools. Now T and X get another boon! At State, KHSAA gets all the revenue.

 

You can't fool those KHSAA folks --they are all over it.

Truth be known, the KHSAA powers that be want X and T In the finals for obvious reasons, it's the members that don't.

 

I think about 17000 for the game.

 

If the weather is bad, low scoring, X running the clock, and both playing for field position and waiting for the other to make a mistake. I don't think T can score as quickly as in the past, and the clock will be a factor.

 

I'm just glad that both teams appear to be healthy, at least before kickoff.

Watching the video at the Courier Journal website linked by CentreRock it seems obvious to me how much Coach Beatty loves his players. I know for a fact that the players love him and the other coaches for COACHING them hard, preparing them to win and fostering that "never give up" attitude. Trinity players aren't looking for a father figure or a best friend, they want to win and be coached accordingly. Awesome video! GO ROCKS.

You pace, I scream like a manic on every play like I am coaching. You do not want to be anywhere near me on Friday because I have a lot of stored up emotions to release because I have missed the last 2 St.X vs. T games due to a wedding this year and company Christmas party last year. The Rocks may not prevail again tomorrow night. They have been on an incredible run of "taking everything from" the Tiger's - in the FINAL GAME - when it counts the most. What does the law of probability have to say about that?

 

This time - X clearly has the better team. They have to be extremely motivated based upon the crushing losses of the past. For history to repeat itself would be beyond incredible.

 

X has everything to loose. They are expected universally to win this time out.
