November 28, 200817 yr This may already be common knowledge; but for anyone who doesn't know, I'll post it anyway. For the first time in history, the Cincinnati Bearcats have clinched the Big East title … and they didn’t even need to suit up or take the field. Pittsburgh defeated West Virginia Friday 19-15 giving the Mountaineers their second conference loss. Now, no matters what happens Saturday in Cincinnati’s match-up with Syracuse, the Bearcats will win the conference title. Winning the Big East title assures Cincinnati a BCS berth in either the Orange Bowl or the Sugar Bowl.
November 28, 200817 yr Great news, I would like to think the kids would have gone out and taken care of business on Saturday. But we all know what can happen on any given day and who knows what would have happened had the game with Syracuse been close and down to the wire. NOW they don't need to worry about any of that. It will be a 3 hour coronation/celebration, since GT has 28 jobs, he can afford to buy everyone at the stadium a ice cold beverage. :thumb:
November 28, 200817 yr So now BGP members have to pay 15 dollars for a year AND get Rosetta Stone???
November 29, 200817 yr Congrats to the program and fans. Instead of watching the game intently on Saturday I will do it while partying.
November 29, 200817 yr Good for UC and coach Kelly, hopefully they can win that BCS game to cap off an amazing season..
November 29, 200817 yr Congrats to the UC program and Brian Kelly... And may God be with him as he tries to keep them focused not only for tomorrow's game but also next week's game.... @ HAWAII! I mean honestly... What speech do you give? "Okay guys, we've already accomplished what we set out to do this year but we have this one last game down on the Hawaiian islands... Don't party or anything...":lol:

The worst thing from a media standpoint is for UC to have a let down and lose one of these two games. It was sickening to hear all the naysayers during the football bradcasts yesterday saying why shouldn't Boise or Ball State go over a weak BE. A UC loss, backing into the BCS, would not be good.
