November 25, 200817 yr Balderdash. Very fun game. Wife and I are going down to Gatlinburg again this year right after X-mas with our two teenage kids for 5 days. We really have a great time playing board games inside the chalet. It's gets pretty darn competitive . . . .
November 25, 200817 yr I use to love Mystery Date, surely, I'm not the only one that remembers that game. The only reason I have even heard about this game is because it's what the mom/Scott Calvin's ex-wife wanted for Christmas. My favorite is Monopoly.

November 25, 200817 yr RISK. No others need apply. At the risk (haha) of revealing my nerdiness, I play Risk with a group of my friends almost every Tuesday. If there's something better than drinking beer and playing a game with some friends... I've yet to be witness to it. Have you ever played the computer version? My favorite's are RISK and Stratego. Also like Othello, Monopoly, Life and Clue. Whenever the family gets together, we play Stratego. We made a mark on one bomb piece. That bomb is movable -- really shakes things up! Is Twister considered a board game?
November 25, 200817 yr I remember it. And NO, I did not ever play it! Does that tell you how old I am then? LOL:lol:
November 25, 200817 yr It's a lot of fun if you have the right crowd. I remember playing last Thanksgiving with my family, and my grandma put in a card, which was quite hilarious but I dont think it can be shared on here :thumb: The right crowd is a must, the right beverages also help.
November 25, 200817 yr Scrabble, Cranium & Trivial Pursuit Unless you consider checkers & backgammon....
