Highlands will be traveling to either close to the KY/Tennessee border or the KY/Virginia border. Lots of miles but something that teams from the mountains are used to doing all the time.

Thanks for the quick reply...count us in. You did a tremendous job as tour guide on the Bell County trip a few years ago...hopefully, this trip will be just as entertaining!

Ft Thomas only has 1 1/2 school busses. They would have to charter yellow busses anyway, so might as well go first class.

 

Highlands doesn't have buses to take.

 

 

Reminds me of something my dad used to say..."It only costs twice as much to go first class".

Seriously, given that busses must be rented for any away football game, I have heard a reasonable explanation that charters to all is actually cheaper than yellow busses for short trips and charters for long trips. Has something to do with the # of yellow busses that must be rented since there is no equipment storage in yellow busses like there is on charters.
