Why was Highlands the top ranked team in KY? I don't think they would beat either X or Trinty.

 

I put those two in a class and then Highlands and then teams like JC. IMO

Colerain and Elder were neck and neck as to being the best team in Cincinnati and probablyl the best team in Ohio this year( Colerain took Elder into overtime last week in their Division 1 showdown last week in the Semis in Ohio.) Colerain would put up 500+ on ANY team in Ky, and probably 1000+ on any team not Named Trinity, St. X, or Highlands.........believe it! If you think HHS might not be one of the top two or three teams in the State up until now, Well, I think your kidding yourself!!!! We shall see Friday night as I also believe this is the 5A championship game!!:ylsuper:

BTW, great teams figure out ways to win even when outplayed , outhustled, out game planned, and out talented.........HHS was all that against Station and then some..........and still WON the game.... Heres to a great game Friday between two teams worthy of the hype...may the better team win.......GO BIRDS!:thumb:

Highlands will prove tomorrow night why they're the best 5A team in the state.

My family lives in eastern Ky, I reside in Caketown and love the BIRDS!! I saw JC play Breathitt thier first game of the season. JC has came a long way from that night, but I still believe that Highlands will win this game rather convincingly. To compare or attempt to compare Colerains running attack to anyone else is like comparing artichoke's and apples. I beleive Highlands are built tough year in and year out, the word tradition, is sacred and will be the difference.

Highlands will take this one. I just don't think anyone has anything for them in 5A. Highlands by 3 td's.

 

I also just wanted in on the posting record. I think that is awesome fan support from both schools and having the posting record is a testament to that.

You need to reread my post. I have said several times that Highlands is the best team in 5A, but I don't think they're at the same level as X and T...

 

If any team in the state should be ranked, it should be X...

This game will be discussed over and over again 'til the Next Gens meet up.

Both teams will be impressive, clearly the Game of the Year.
