Desales will wear down HC. Desales is very physical and, while HC is not a small team, they don't compare to the Colts up front. I can't think of his name or number but the d-lineman for Desales that signed with UK is an absolute monster. Desales also has some very good linebackers and they will shut down the HC running game. It will be close for a while but Desales will win out, 28-13.

 

That's a bold statement seeing as how not many teams have this year, especially when Roenker, Smith, and Walker have all been healthy, but we'll just have to wait and see.:thumb:

I like what Holy Cross did with their schedule, I know absolutely nothing about DeSales, but their schedule appears to much inferior to that of the Indians. HC only won three regular season games, but they played some very good teams in NCC, Ryle, Beechwood, Simon Kenton and Knox Central. HC may lose, but they should be prepared.

I look for Roenker to have a big game.

I think HC will win. If DeSales is soooo great, then why did they barely beat Newport? I'm not convinced with them.

I just think HC is clicking at the right time with the running game and the defense. Brad Herald is back and has had 10+ tackles his first two weeks plus DT Bernie Gripshover is supposed to return this week from a knee injury and he started. Hopefully their brutal schedule finally pays off.

Desales stats just outnumber Holy Cross. They have five players with over 300 rushing yards, a total of 2428 rushing yards as a team, have scored 316 points, have given up 182 points. Compare those stats to Holy Cross and this one should be an easy choice! The Colts are a very disciplined bunch who play football the right way. They play the game with no attitude and maybe more importantly with class. Coach Sander is one of the best coaches you never hear about.

 

WEll put and I concur. They run a class act - good hard nosed kids.

They also blew out Lloyd who blew out Newport. It's all just about how you want to look at it.

After seeing both teams play I have to go with HC in this game Desales is a very fast team and they have numbers but I just think HC will be to physical. Good luck to both teams.
