November 16, 200817 yr Ok ok... I can agree with you on that... But that brings me back to my ori. point that this whole situation is like the UK/Tubby situation. Only Tubby won a national title and had an excellent record until the last few years. Krag came in and stank it up from the beginning.
November 16, 200817 yr UL is still putting good players on the field, why are those players not beating teams they should? Why does UL appear to play unmotivated? Why does UL repeatedly play to the level of their competition? Personally I don’t buy the growing pain argument, IMO a HC is still responsible for doing the best he can with the team he has. I don’t think Krag’s doing that… That is how I see it. :thumb:
November 17, 200817 yr Is this the UK/Tubby version of College Football? :confused: Not even close. Tubby took over a great program and kept it going for a while before slowly falling off. Krag took a program at the top and did nothing from day 1.

While I disagree with RP on the state of the Cards, he never once would have said Cantwell was better than Brohm. NO CHANCE!! The odds of that having happened are as good as RP rooting for UK against Duke in basketball.

Cantwell is seasoned and ready. The kid has heart, and has PROVEN to the CARDINAL faithful that he can manage the game. Ask around, 99% of Cardinal fans will say they are 100% confident in Hunter.

That's fine and you may be right but perception is reality. The powers that be at Louisville may understand but that isn't what pays the bills. I don't care what program it is, money talks and when the money is calling for heads you better give them one.

I'm not buying that. When Kragthorp was hired we were told by Jurich AND Kragthorp that the talent to stay on the same level was there. IMVHO they were either blowing smoke up our collective nether regions then or they are doing it now in order to cover theirs.
