November 22, 200817 yr Just curious, because I can only imagine the ridicule a UK fan would receive for making a similar statement. :thumb: There's no reason I can think of to support the statement that U of L will be in a BCS Bowl sooner rather than later. There are a handful of programs in the Big East that are better than them now, and look better equipped for the future... Do they really? UC - If BK leaves, the program has a ton of question marks.. USF - has to learn to win important games, they were "loaded" this year, and are the disappoinment of the Big East WVU - Loses White this year, and Devine after next (I am guessing), with Stewart, there's no way to know where they are going... The future is Louisville's for the taking. They get a lot back next season.....I am pretty happy about the future.
November 22, 200817 yr If it makes anyone feel better that is a UofL fan, some of us (UK fans) are still reeling from the lost weekend at UK. Particularly, the Chapel Hill Massacre which the refs should have stopped because of the brutality. I still haven't recovered and couldn't go to sleep that night after the game. My point is...we all have our demons but the sun does come up. It will for UofL in football. As I have said before, your AD would give me all the comfort I needed if a UL fan.
November 22, 200817 yr If you don't think the coaching is leaps and bounds better now, than this time last season, I don't know what to say. Admittedly, I don't watch many games. I do see the results though.

Defensively yes, otherwise, no I can't say I've noticed a difference worth mentioning. Special teams is still horrid and the offense is just as average and inconsistent as it was last year.
