That 10-2 goes back a long time back when we were pretty good, but don't let me get on tradition of Bama I can be really....well even my wife/family/friends avoid me when I go there. Heck thats what its all about. Why do they call them "Championships?" I haven't even wrote Roll Tide but once this season on here and as a member since 05, well....

November 16, 200817 yr 10.....that may be true. But right now we are #1. Again, we have a very young team and lot of kids knocking on our door to join us. We thought we might be # 1-5 in two years. You people can't spoil my joy/fun/pride/ "Pleasant Surprise" I don't see Tebow leaving, and the D doesn't have one senior on the starting roster. Rainey and Demps and Harvin will be there too, so Florida will be right there with 'Bama.:thumb:

November 17, 200817 yr Dola, just saw your posts. We pull our players. I've seen every game. Its football. Troy at LSU. We barely beat the Cats/Rebels they played well and had a great gameplan. Rebels beat the Gators so they want to pile it on and to help Tim win that award I cannot spell because Bama has never had one. I'm not afraid of the Gators we beat them twice one year and at the swamp. 35-10 the year we went 10-2 in 2004 In the history of the Swamp we are 10-2 its like our second home. Bama has never had a Heisman(sp?) winner? I would have lost money on that one. I would figure they had at least one from all those great teams. Namath! Stabler! etc....

November 17, 200817 yr For Alabama Larry, I understand your love for the Tide, and I'm not down playing how good they are this season. However, the same teams Bama' has had squeakers against, Florida drills by 50+. It's not hard to see who the better team is with that. And we conveniently omit the fact that Alabama beat the team that Florida couldn't on its home field. I was watching ESPN this weekend and was quite amused by the "experts" comments. Here's a sample... "Texas Tech is the team to beat because they haven't lost yet." I was trying to remember who Alabama lost to because last I checked, they were undefeated as well. Their reason for not including Alabama in the discussion? Here it is, and I quote, "They should have lost already." Go figure. I didn't know we could just drop a team because "they should have lost already" while excusing other teams like Florida and USC by saying they lost to teams they shouldn't have. Does a team not deserve some credit for actually winning on the weeks when they find themselves in a tough game? Additionally, what determines when a team "should have lost already"? Texas Tech beat Nebraska in OT (at Tech)...they also had to drive down the field in about 90 seconds to beat Texas...why are those games viewed as games Tech should have won, while saying the opposite about Alabama. It makes no sense.
