Ever since that loss, they have won 5 straight outscoring their opponents 243-57. That is an average score of 48.6-11.4!!! However, even if you look before that game, they won their first three games with an average score of 37.3-6.3. They had a hiccup. A bad game. An off week. They absolutely dominated LSU and Georgia, both top 10 teams. I can't wait until the SEC Championship!

November 13, 200817 yr I've said it many times on here, IMO it is USC. Yes, they have a loss to someone that they should not have lost to, but I believe in a playoff (wishful thinking), they have the depth and personell to beat any team in the nation.

Thier offense is dynamic, thier defense is fast and hard hitting, and they have way more many play makers than TT. I say Florida too for the very reason you posted. The Gator's defensive athleticism should match Texas Tech's high powered offense. No huge numbers by Tech against Florida imo.

No one can contain that offense they run for 60 minutes. Florida is a threat to score on every play via run or pass.

Yes, they aren't blowing teams off the field, but since the Oregon State game, their D has been lights out. Second place to me is either Bama, UF, or Texas Tech. We will find out soon enough, since USC more than likely wont be in the title. UF is the most athletic and dangerous, Bama is the definition of a team it's not always pretty but they get the job done, and Tech has the best offense IMO.

To be exact, 5 touchdowns and 3 field goals. But I don't think that have faced a TT, Florida type offense and they wouldn't know how to handle the speed of Florida and the pass of TT. The best offense they have faced is Ohio State and that is when I think Pryor was still getting his feet wet. Florida blew Georgia, a SEC D, out of the water.

When you watch Florida closely then you realize how gifted of a team they are. They have track stars at every other position and no other team can match the team speed. Plus, how in the world would you plan to stop that offensive attack. I'm a very big Urban Meyer fan in a sense of how he uses his strength's.

USC is loaded and could certainly beat any team on any given day. Oklahoma is awfully strong as well. I do think Florida is the most dangerous, but is a young team. Texas Tech does have the highest scoring offense. Alabama is the best coached team in the country.
