November 16, 200817 yr No offense to Alabama Larry, but Florida is hands down the best and I have been saying that for a couple of weeks now. You cannot beat four straight SEC teams in a row by 40+ and not be the best team in football. End of story.
November 16, 200817 yr Until someone beats us...we are #1. Auburn/Gators both could beat us. But understand the Gators lost at home. What they have done lately is great. But they still have the loss. If I wasn't a Bama person I'd probaby agree about the Gators, but I am and we are the best team in the nation.

I'll be pulling for Florida because I believe they'll give the SEC the best chance at a 3peat for the National Championship, but I fully expect Saban to have the Tide in that positon year after year. How do you honestly feel the Tide's chances are against Florida in the SEC Championship game?
November 16, 200817 yr For Alabama Larry, I understand your love for the Tide, and I'm not down playing how good they are this season. However, the same teams Bama' has had squeakers against, Florida drills by 50+. It's not hard to see who the better team is with that.
November 16, 200817 yr ^^^Right now I'm thinking about Auburn, but I don't play/coach so I'll reply. I see the same games/highlites/college shows/radio shows that everyone else sees. Does the gator coach ever pull his 1st teamers. Who is the backup to Tim? I know he is a great QB and we were his 2nd choice. One reason Coach Shula got into trouble was he spent too much time at Tim's house with all of Tim's gator stuff on the walls. Lot of speed on both sides of the ball. Shoot fire they are the Gators. But when the game is played we control the line and give Tim some pressure who knows. We don't have many sacks and look for Julio way too much which bothers me, but I know football and know that if they beat us I'm pulling for the SEC in every bowl game and wait for february for Ntional signing day. I'll write more about that game as it approaches. We are off next week so I'll try not to gloat so much Proverbs 24:17

Rebels beat the Gators so they want to pile it on and to help Tim win that award I cannot spell because Bama has never had one. I'm not afraid of the Gators we beat them twice one year and at the swamp. 35-10 the year we went 10-2 in 2004 In the history of the Swamp we are 10-2 its like our second home.
