November 10, 200817 yr I just ordered it a few minutes ago.... I'm hoping to shed 10-15 lbs and get defined. Who all on here has done this recently? I know we had an old thread on it, but figured I start us up fresh
November 11, 200817 yr Yea, I'm absolutely burnt out on weights I'm getting there, I don't feel as though I'm getting any bigger, or more defined. Getting stronger yes, but you can't really see stronger in the mirror.
November 11, 200817 yr Let us all know how it works, and how hard it is on your knees, and shoulders please. Good luck.
November 11, 200817 yr I put this program on my Christmas wish list. I checked out the prices on ebay, and they seem much cheaper than buying from the infomercial. Hopefully, Dec. 26th, I will be on my way to a much leaner, more defined body.
November 11, 200817 yr I'm going to spend the next few months on a bench program then start it around Feb/March so I'll be in good shape for summer hopefully. I don't know that I can do the food plan though. Does anybody have any good places to get the pull up bar and dumbells? I hate to spend that much money on a chin up bar but I've heard you really need to get one even if you can't do them. I have thought about getting the bowflex dumbells so you have all the different weights right there but they seem kind of bulky.
November 11, 200817 yr If you want to know if it works, I'll show you. These are my 2 month photos, now bear in mind I am an almost-36 year old mother of 5. At the time of these pictures, my youngest child was 10 months old. If you follow the food plan and the workouts, it will work.
November 11, 200817 yr I don't have the nutritional plan, but I have done the workouts on DVD. I have never been so sore after a leg workout. I never lifted a weight heavier than 30 lb dumbells and I could barely walk the next day! This program is great!

November 11, 200817 yr Author I thought you were 3time lover, did you have two sets of twins? I believe she's had a couple more since joining BGP:thumb: And very nice 3time! I'll post some after I get done as well!
November 11, 200817 yr Thanks, Rocket. Like I said, those were taken on about day 63 in July, so I've made a lot of improvements since then. I'm now in phase 2 of my second round. If you saw my before photos (which I will not post!) then you can really see the big difference. Make sure you take your before photos because you will get a big kick out of seeing them, even after phase 1. Seriously though, the key to getting cut up is the nutritional plan. It's a pain at first, but now it is a way of life for me. The workouts will get you very strong, but the nutrition will show off what you've done. My husband is going to turn 38 in a couple of weeks and he now has a full-fledged 8 pack--it is awesome!:fire: He didn't even have that when he was a basketball player in college.
November 11, 200817 yr Could a P90X user give us some detail on the type of workout that is involved ? What type of exercises and stuff like that. How hard would it be on my wrists and shoulders ?
November 12, 200817 yr it is not recommended for people with shoulder or knee problems because it is a very intense program.
