I really feel bad for the state of the cougars program right now. Hopefully they will bounce back and build something good in West Liberty. Corbin can name the score in this one, I will say 56-0.

Corbin 63-0.

Corbin should be able to name the score in this one!

I think Coach Jewell has too much class to go throw a big 70-0 or 83-0 type whipping on a team. In games like this, the starters usually get about 1.5 quarters of action. Once it gets to around 40-0 they are pulled. He may keep them in just a little longer this week though so the score may be worse. The reasoning wouldn't be to try and rub it in against these kids. Corbin had this past week off so the team will be needing to get their playing legs back under them. Plus now that it's the playoffs, they will need to get back in the swing of things.

Corbin will rest their kids early to avoid injury. 52-12.

I have seen both teams play and Corbin may have that 40 point lead before the second quarter starts. My hope and prayers is that no player is hurt. I would be surprised if Morgan Co. scores against the Corbin freshmen.

Morgan County has gone through a pretty rough stretch the last couple of years. Running clock by halftime or soon after may be in the cards.

Corbin wins before Morgan gets off the bus!

I predict the smallest crowd of the season Friday night and Corbin to win 48-0, with all the scoring in the first half.

Corbins J.V. will score at will om this team but I know that Morgan county has some good middle school teams and will be better in a few years but I think Coach Jewall will get the win in a hurry and get the varisty off the field in a the1st half this may hurt the Hounds down the road because the open week and the varisty getting a half this week we will see.

Alot of these first round matchups are senseless. A team with the potential to win it all and with no losses on the season risk injury to key players for a blowout game. I know a few games Friday won't be this way (Whitley vs South)maybe, but IMO all 0 and 10 teams should be practicing basketball this week not football. It can't be about the money only parents and true diehards will find interest in these games.

Start the "continous clock" from the start of the game. Corbin by how many they want.
