Here's a question. Would either Bell or Boyle be undefeated playing the same schedule as Highlands? (Finished 9-1)

How would you seem them finishing playing that schedule? I really don't know much about either team which is why I'm asking.

I think thier record would be very similar if not the same, becasue lets face it Boyle county is very good. That being said I think Highlands is the class of the state year in and year out aside from 1 maybe 2 schools from TheVille and the debate isn't even close, IMO.

What is scary is the fact that HHS is doing all this without what was going to be their main running threat and Mr. Football candidate in Josh Conner. His fellow backs have done an excellent job, but if he were playing they might just be undefeated and without a doubt the best team in the state at this point!......we'll probably never know just how good this team could have been. ......Oh well.....a ring will have to suffice.

You can't really compare scores but I think that one there answers the question of who's better this year.

 

Honestly I'm not so sure Highlands isn't the best team in the state at this point with the way they've been clicking lately. Their defense has shut out some VERY good teams.

 

Lets not get carried away here... Highlands is a good team. But I'm not ready to throw them into a pool with St. X and expect them to come back alive.

Really? Let's remember Highlands accomplished everything they have this year WITHOUT Mr. Football candidate Josh Conner.

Judging from those scores, I'd say the two are pretty evenly matched. Highlands shut out all three of the common opponents. St X gave up a combined 20 points.

The Rebels seem to have turned it around under their new leadership, but it's hard for me to go against Highlands. The Birds have what most others want in a program.

I have seen Boyle County play this season and they are a great team. They are NOT the best team outside of Louisville, however.

I am sure happy this game will be played on the field that way all the professionals like Rebel dont get to dictate who wins.

Probably not. But Id love to see another season when Highlands has to come to Log Mountain in the playoffs. If I am not mistaken Bell has had 3 very near misses against Highlands who won the state title all 3 years. No sour grapes about anything, but Id like to see Bell knock off Highlands in the playoffs 1 good time (even though I know its impossible as of right now with alignment).

 

Okay I know I am way off schedule so no Boyle is not the best team outsid of Louisville.
