November 9, 200817 yr ram2003, I want to touch this real quick, because a lot of people are wondering. Brock took a big shot in the last game against Syracuse on the first posession, last week. He fought hard to get back today and was effective, but that hip was real bad today. They wanted to use him more, but it wasn't going to happen. It's rare to say, but I am very proud of Louisville's defense today, they really, REALLY battled. The special teams need to be fixed immediately.. Thanks RP, I was not aware of that. I hope he gets better soon. I also hope Powell can take a few notes from him for next year. With the sporadic decisions the coaches seem to be making, it's hard to tell when they're being precautious or simply not using somebody, like you mentioned with Simms and Wolfe before. Thank God Simms got some reps yesterday. I honestly wouldn't even mind if they put him in for a whole half for one of the upcoming games.
November 9, 200817 yr I believe that they know where their future lies in QB, and since that young man can't play this season, I am sure they feel it doesn't really benefit them to season someone who likely won't see substantial time next year.
