November 6, 200817 yr Forgot to mention "The Patriot", but certainly one of my favorites. For some reason it did not even cross my mind when I was thinking war movie. I'll throw another one out that I really enjoyed, "Letters from Iwo Jima".

November 6, 200817 yr The Sand Pebbles. More sentimental for me. It is a movie I remember watching with my grandfather who passed in 1975.
