November 7, 200817 yr Ok, I'm going way back to All Quiet on the Western Front. The first movie to show that war is real, not some sort of glorified, patriotic fight. People die and troops suffer from so much trauma that I can't begin to describe the amount of awe I hold for combat troops. Also, Patton is a favorit of mine.
November 7, 200817 yr Full Metal Jacket, however, I think you can consider it as two seperate movies. Part II is good, but I tend to like Part I much better.
November 7, 200817 yr Patton, George C. Scott and Karl Malden along with the musical score just makes a great movie. Also Midway was a good movie along with an all-star cast and Tora Tora Tora. I liked Delta Force with Chuck Norris and Heartbreak Ridge with Clint Eastwood too.
