Anyone remember Frances Bavier?

Losing Frances on BGP was like Ky losing Cawood. It just wasn't the same anymore.

This is not a good bye...this is a "see you later".

Or a Favre-esque retirement....

But PLEASE don't come back with the Jets??

CCH,

I will keep trying to post Libertarian stuff during your absence. If some topic seems post worthy I won't give you any grief if you can't resist the urge to post.

I miss them and Ram95, and the one I can't remember the full name but I called him FR.

FlagetRocks, maybe?

Yes

Once you take a break, you may want to extend your leave of absence. It's quite refreshing.

Goodbye CCH

Though I never knew you at all

You had the grace to hold yourself

While those around you crawled

They crawled out of the woodwork

And they whispered into your brain

They set you on the treadmill

And they made you change your game.

And it seems to me you posted your thoughts

Like a candle in the wind

Never knowing who to cling to

When the drivel set in

And I would have liked to have known you

But I was just a clown

Your candle burned out long before

Your legend left BGP town.

Wait, are you suggesting this forum would be quite refreshing without cch?

I made it 6 days. Looks like there has been some decent conversation and some horrible conversation. I will look over what I missed!

Great to have you back! You were missed.

You were gone?

I really miss Francis Bavier. One of the most thought provoking and intelligent posters in BGP's history.

His/her discussions with another great poster, Fastbreak, in P&R are classic imo.

You were gone?

Ouch!

Must have been one heck of a victory celebration...
