November 5, 200817 yr Is there a book (besides the Bible), that says that? I didnt know there was a laws of nature guide book for the non religious. Heterosexual people certainly do not have sex only for procreation. If sex was only meant to be used for another job (procreation), then God would not have made it so much fun.:sssh: I have to agree with you there. No where in the bible are there "laws of nature" As far as the bolded part...
November 5, 200817 yr Then they need to retrain theirselves for a better job. No one else can do for them, they must be responsilble for theirselves. Wow. Are you serious? "Retrain" themselves? You think they can magically "retrain" themselves for a better job?
November 5, 200817 yr Granting them equality as married couples would be wrong. Even for those who are not religious, homosexuality is wrong according to the laws of nature, as sex is for procreation. How can you prove that homosexuality is wrong in the laws of nature?
November 5, 200817 yr Wow. Are you serious? "Retrain" themselves? You think they can magically "retrain" themselves for a better job? Absolutely! And no magic is needed.
November 5, 200817 yr I don't think a lot of people realize that if you work a minimum wage job that you fall in the "poverty" category. Same is true for most seasonal workers that earn more than minimum wage.Who works for minimum wage mostly? Young people starting out and people with little to no education. If you're working a job for years and still making minimum wage you're lazy, inept or have zero motivation.
November 5, 200817 yr Who works for minimum wage mostly? Young people starting out and people with little to no education. If you're working a job for years and still making minimum wage you're lazy, inept or have zero motivation. Bingo
November 5, 200817 yr How can you prove that homosexuality is wrong in the laws of nature? How can you prove that a pedophile is wrong in the laws of nature? You go changing the definitions of marriage, and you open up a whole can of worms.
November 5, 200817 yr Absolutely! And no magic is needed. I'm confused. How do you suggest they "retrain" themselves?
November 5, 200817 yr How can you prove that a pedophile is wrong in the laws of nature? You go changing the definitions of marriage, and you open up a whole can of worms. Wow. You are comparing homosexuality to pedophilia? Rape, to something that is consensual?
November 5, 200817 yr Who works for minimum wage mostly? Young people starting out and people with little to no education. If you're working a job for years and still making minimum wage you're lazy, inept or have zero motivation. You think $8.00 is enough to survive on? Because that is what managers make at the local McDonald's. Police officers in my hometown make around $19K per year. Are those people lazy, inept, or have zero motivation? I don't think so, I think they're hardworking and underpaid. But a lot of them are well past their teen years, and have a family to support. So the idea of "retraining" or going to college is out the window.
November 5, 200817 yr Wow. You are comparing homosexuality to pedophilia? Rape, to something that is consensual? I sure am. I mean it's the pelophile's sexual orientation. . He can't help it. "God made him that way".
November 5, 200817 yr I sure am. I mean it's the pelophile's sexual orientation. . He can't help it. "God made him that way". It is also against the will of the other participant, and against the law. They are not even close, and IMO shouldn't be compared.
November 5, 200817 yr It is also against the will of the other participant, and against the law. They are not even close, and IMO shouldn't be compared. But the pedophile can't help it. "God made him that way, so God has to agree with it"
November 5, 200817 yr Then they need to retrain theirselves for a better job. No one else can do for them, they must be responsilble for theirselves. Absolutely! And no magic is needed. Call me a raving left-wing socialist, but I have no problem with taxpayer-funded trade adjustment programs.
November 5, 200817 yr I'm confused. How do you suggest they "retrain" themselves? I'm an accountant. I "retrained" myself to learn other skills by going to the library and getting books on what I wanted to learn. Cooking, carpentry, computers, whatever. Sure it takes effort but what doesn't?
