If you don't see it, then I'm not wasting anymore time. The situations DO have similarities.

What exactly are they? Because frankly I don't see them. Krag came in to a program that had reached its highest of heights, just won a BCS bowl and had loads of returning talent.

Were there character issues to be worked out? You better believe it! Bobby P kept such a tight lid on things here no one knew what was going on with the players. Once he left we found out that he left a number of problems. Well Krag spent the better part of a season fixing that mess, but I have seen little in the way of consistency with this team. Krag's talent level is dropping, not going up.

Brooks brought in bigger and better talent than UK had for some time on a number of occasions, Krag hasn't done much in that department. In fact he hasn't even kept the best kids from Louisville here, something that Petrino DID do.

I am not saying I miss Petrino, nor am I even that big of a Cards fan, I am just saying that Krag was given a progarm on the rise and has taken it to mediocrity. If that is what this town wants, then more power to it.

I'd rather watch the Rocks play either way.

I think that at times he has shown to be predictable or vanilla, and at other times been great (that play that Troy dropped the TD, was a brilliant call), but he has been calling plays for 8 games TOTAL....I am going to let him get the true feel first. Sometimes people dis-credit how poor others are playing, which in turn is making Brohm look poor. I am 100% dis-pleased with Hunter's play, and I am concerned that Simms and Wolfe must be horrible, because by now, I would venture they would see some clock.

That is a good point. I never would have believed pre-season that QB would be a problem for the offense. That is a concern with Simms and Wolfe though.

With supporting the team comes the right to criticize what happens. I buy tickets just like you do, I am entitled to voice my opinion. Kragthorpe will never hear my opinion, but that doesn't matter to me. He's doing a crappy job. Sure he got rid of some bad apples. Any coach with any sense or class would have done the same. He's not getting it done on the field. It's as simple as that. 20 games into his career here and there have been no real signs of improvement other than the defense this year. He inherited the athletes, he inherited a system that worked. What happened to that? Louisville is not Tulsa, and what Krag did at Tulsa is obviously not working here....

Some of you guys kill me, you are ecstatic one week, and gloom and doom the next. The AD said this is a re-building process, he obviously understands what is REALLY in that locker room talent wise, etc....I trust him, and will side with him in his decisions. I look for Louisville to go bowling this year, and hopefully improve upon their record into next season. That's what I want to see. Beyond that, it's a futile expectation, hoping for young in-experienced players to not go through growing pains.

I don't get this concept.

So if you are a fan of the team, be a fan and don't be critical?

That is straight from the Marvin Lewis playbook.

IMO, ProSports are a complete different animal.

In fact he hasn't even kept the best kids from Louisville here, something that Petrino DID do.

Krags has brought in Beaumon, Anderson, and Heyman.....who has he lost?

Side bar, Justin Green is following his brother. I could give you Jordan, but he doesn't really feel like staying home.

Cobble was who came to mind.

As I told Rockmom yesterday. Not real sure I want to jump on fire coach "fill in name" band wagon. However I will say there is MANY things wrong with this team...that includes the coaches. Coach K is a fine coach...just as the others on the satff seem to be. Just not sure they are the best coaches for UL. Just my opinion.....and we all know what they say about opinions.

The Louisville bandwagon drives into the ditch...

From the site, these stats absolutely cracked me up...

During Greg Robinson's four year tenure, Syracuse has now won eight games and 25% of those wins have come against Kragthorpe. In the last 14 months, Syracuse has beaten three division 1A teams, Buffalo and Louisville twice.

I almost laughed out loud at work when I read that first sentence.

Are you saying UofL fan = UK fan???? :scared::scared::scared:

I must say that the irony of the situation is not lost on me. I seem to recall UK fans being criticized for making virtually the same argument that I now hear Cardinal fans making about Kragthorpe.

Sports has come to this lately, hasn't it? I see it in the Heisman watch too, where a voter changes their opinions from one half of the game to the next. It definately happens with fans - they're either all in, or all out that week. This year I have decided not to visit my main fan boards after a loss, at least until the day before the next game. It literally depresses me to see the post that go up immediately after a loss. So, no ND boards for me for the next few days.

As a matter of fact, get rid of the entire coaching staff besides English, because Brohm sucks too.

Jeff Brohm can coach. This program will suffer from Petrino withdraws for a couple more years until its flushed out. Kragthorpe will be fine. THEGREENDANDY APPROVES THIS MESSAGE.

Anderson is at Louisville because of old Rich Rod.

Anderson is at Louisville because of old Rich Rod.

And also, wasn't Earl Heyman here before Kragthorpe?

Anderson is at Louisville because of old Rich Rod.

Was it Rich Rod or Noel?
