November 3, 200817 yr labs, I'm certain that you, with all your knowledge, know the problems within the program as well as anyone. For Kragthorpe, this isn't just a battle of winning on the field. This is his 2nd year. And a lot more attrition has occurred that he could have anticipated. I'll stick by him, because I believe he'll not only be successful on the field, but be successful in building an solid program internally. Maybe that doesn't mean much to most folks, but it does to me. And, for the record, it's why I preached my "Give Rich Brooks a chance" sermon over and over and over a couple of years ago. Oh rockmom, you just don't want Krags fired because you'll lose your next great QB at Trinity! :lol:
November 3, 200817 yr As a matter of fact, get rid of the entire coaching staff besides English, because Brohm sucks too. English's defense led more to this loss than anything. They couldn't even stop the Cuse. It was like water through a seive.

In addition, their recruiting under Kragthorpe has been very suspect. Last year it was in the bottom half of the Big East and if it were not for Syracuse and Robinson being DOA, they would be last thus far this year. The criticism is warranted.

Last year's class filled spots that were needed, I don't really worry about stars, never have. I also never concern myself with a class' rankings, at least until they have signed in ink.

Either you support the team (the whole team), or you don't... With supporting the team comes the right to criticize what happens. I buy tickets just like you do, I am entitled to voice my opinion. Kragthorpe will never hear my opinion, but that doesn't matter to me. He's doing a crappy job. Sure he got rid of some bad apples. Any coach with any sense or class would have done the same. He's not getting it done on the field. It's as simple as that. 20 games into his career here and there have been no real signs of improvement other than the defense this year. He inherited the athletes, he inherited a system that worked. What happened to that? Louisville is not Tulsa, and what Krag did at Tulsa is obviously not working here....
