What if HHS was part of the injunction???

Then it's been kept secret as well as Kennedy's assassin...!!

;)

This has been said so many times throughout this thread, it's getting really old. Nobody knows anything about what would have happened, no matter how much you think you do. So just drop it please.

CS: That was over the line.

First off let me say that this is a shame that any KID has to be in the middle of all this. If anybody thinks this wasn't calculated then you are kidding yourself. Dust just happens to get kicked up the week of the final ... oh yea by the way I own some swamp land in the middle of Ft.Thomas that I can sell you for really cheap :creepy:

As far as games past I think a lot of people need to step back and look at the whole situation.

Cov Cath fans: over the past two years you were beat 2 out of 3 games in which Mitch had little or no impact in. (heck last year we beat you and you had him)

Bell fans: I know many may be upset right now but believe me when I say there are several players on the squad who could've/would've done the same thing to you. (several have made identical plays already this season in games prior)

Boyle fans: I think you all realize the game still has to be won on Saturday between the lines. I also think you realize that there are a couple more guys who can step up and make similar plays to that of what Mitch made this season. (hopefully not ;) )

The rest of the Birds opponents: You all saw first hand what most of the other guys are capable of.

If I were Mueller I would lose a little sleep tonight and may even shed a tear or two. I would then look at my roster and realize that I still have Hubbard on my squad and begin to feel a little better about myself. (Depending on if he has a numerical or alphabetical roster) I would then scan up/down several names and suddenly one would jump out at me that I have pretty much forgotten about for the majority of the season. The name of my other current D1 recruit who by my good fortune just happens to have experience at both running back and safety. :ylsuper:

The game may not play exactly to the script that I imagined but I still envision the trophy coming back up north. The Birds will just have to fly on the backs of a couple different numbered jerseys.

*Applauds*

stillblueafterall,

So your saying that other players on your team would have definitly stepped up and played as well as your best player? Come on, thats weak. Bell is a team just like Highlands is a team. But you take Robbins, Barton, or Rogers off Bell's team its going to have an effect on how good we are. And that goes the same for Highlands.

Nice Post StillBlue,

I agree... I think if Dale puts Nevels at Saftey and some RB Highlands does not lose a beat.

I imagine there is going to be some smiles in class tomorrow at Boyle. I guess Quinn Givhans bad dreams are coming to an end. However, the rest of the Birds will be showing up to play on Saturday with or without Mitch.

The hearing date or whatever you want to call this ruling from the COA was known for well over month.

The date was set in October.

There is no conspiracy by the KHSAA in regards to have this ruling come down this week.

If Highlands would have lost in week 2 of the playoffs this date was set.

It is unfortunate that it has come to this, but after the temp injunction was ordered the KHSAA went on record saying they would appeal this and go to a higher court.

It just so happens it came down this week. Ungodly timing, yes, but in general there is no real "fair and speedy trial" in this nation.

By no means a conspiracy....

Trust me no one here in Danville is smiling about this. Givhan has even been quoted in todays newspaper as looking forward to playing against Mitchell again. We want to play the best that Highlands has.

I will believe that when I hear Chuck Smith's public statement saying let Mitchell play Boyle has no protest

LMB;

Of the three how many of them will play D1 or 1AA college football? I venture to say the Birds have at least 3 or 4 not to mention 6 or 7 that can play at lower levels if they choose to.

It's not up to Boyle.

That doesnt matter. All 3 of those players could atleast play at Eastern or Western and have been recruited by them. You take away Mitchell you guys drop off. Most of the yards Mitchell got Friday night were from breaking tackles, not from him having big holes to run through. Hes a big strong fast back that is a difference maker.

So next year we'll just bring back Durrell White, get Payton Manning and Randy Moss and it will be ok because they just moved here to play football. So when they beat everyone and we get caught for cheating we can just say everyone should have beat us in the first place. Face it Highlands took a gamble playing him and should have paid for it. Instead they have a chance at a state title and they still might not have to forfeit any games. So apparently if you're good enough at cheating then it's ok.

Man you Bell people can't take a loss! lol. Its over man from the impression I get from you there are still Bell people on the field screaming. Bell had their chances to win this game with or without Mitchell and didn't let it go. Its over. Besides its not the topic of this thread.....
