Simpsons has been able to better weather the passage of time because of the show's ability to play off current affairs to get about half the episodes in any given season. KOH relies too heavily on the interpersonal dynamics between the characters to generate story lines, and that has contributed to it becoming stale. The fact that Bobby has remained a mostly pre-pubescent while Luann has aged hasn't helped it much either.

November 2, 200817 yr My favorite episode was when Bobby got the ventriloquest dummy and becomes jealous of him when everyone seems to like the dummy better than Bobby. I also like Lucky, he reminds me of several people I know.

November 3, 200817 yr Hard to believe KOTH has been on the air for 11 seasons, I watched it a few times, but never considered it a must watch. Even more impressive is that the Simpsons has been on for two decades, another show that I never got into, but I think I'm in the minority.
