I know this is clearly going to be all speculation, but what are the odds of Phil Fulmer being out at Tennessee at the end of the year? Although he has one of the best winning percentages of any coach in the game, things on Rocky Top don't look so good (3-5, 1-4). So what does BGP nation think?

That is a good question I think that he will still be there at the end of the year.

I think Fulmer is becoming stale UT. I think he is done this season.

A lot of Tennessee fans I know say he's toast ...

Isn't that what they think every year?

Considering going down to the UK / UT game, because I think UK may have a shot this year.

For one thing, they have to win 3 out of the last 4 to get to a bowl period (@USC, Wyoming, @Vandy, and UK). That isn't happening, IMO. This team is terrible. Secondly, he has been on the hot seat every for how long now? I think he's gone, regardless.

That's what I am hearing as well.

I think it will happen if they lose to UK.

I was in Tennessee last weekend, and the Knoxville paper had an article from a sports reporter openly talking about who would be a good replacement for Fulmer. 6 million is the buyout.

I think it will happen if they lose to UK.

He's safe in that case...

He just signed a contract extension. Hope he stays and gets a chance to.....oh who am I foolin?

While a lot of people think he's gone because of wins and losses, a lot of people alos don't realize the millions and millions of dollars he raises around the state for the athletic department. He is still one of the most popular public speakers in the state and that's a lot of greenbacks to wave good bye to.

He's gone.

I don't know if its just me but this team seems like it has been sinking for a while
