Is it basketball season yet Wildcat fans?

The University Of Kentucky owes me $22.50 for 3 hours of my time.

I don't care what anyone says, you aren't going to forget this one. If we don't win this coming weekend against MSU, we aren't going bowling.

Will they win another game, this season?

U.K.'s special teams coach is asleep at the wheel. He should be replaced immediately. I know several dozen high school coaches who would take the 6 figure salary and do a better job.

I just hope they can put this one behind them quickly. We all have seen losses like this destroy seasons. Im still confident in UK's defense. It's just very demoralizing to have given up 4 yards and 0 first downs and look at the scoreboard and be down 21 to 0! Try as you might not to, the defense still has bad feelings toward the offense and special teams at this point.

Why doesn't Fidler get a shot at playing QB? He can't be any worse than Hartline, and it would allow Cobb to play WR.

 

It was encouraging to see Cobb move the ball some, but I'm not sure he's the answer either.

 

Just got absolutely dominated today. Tebow's 1st pass of the game should have been an INT, and I think that could have changed the entire complexion of the game. Instead, it fell to the ground and Tebow got away with one right off the bat.

 

Special teams have cost us multiple games this year. We've been unable to move the ball effectively on offense, but there is no excuse for giving up as many points on special teams as we have all season. Blocked kicks for TD's in the South Carolina game, and 14 points today. You cannot do that against teams in the SEC and expect to compete, much less win on the road.

The last time Kentucky suffered a loss like this, it turned things around. 49-0 at LSU a few years back. Hopefully Coach Brooks and the staff will be able to pull something positive out of this.

I watched the whole game because i didn't want to get critized by Rich Brooks for leaving early.

It is time for Hartline to step down and give Cobb his chance, at least thers hope with Cobb in the pocket. I'm so sick of watching him not complete passes to wide open receivers. UGH.

Just my opinion, of course, but it is evident to me that Kentucky does not want to give Randall Cobb reps at quarterback because they want to get him reps at the position he will play for the next three years........slot receiver.

 

It seems as though Kentucky coaches have promised playing time to Morgan Newton next season and so Mike Hartline will get the reps at quarterback as a stand-in this season. They know the game and it is obvious that Mike Hartline does not have the ability to pass the football at this level. Randall Cobb would be in the quarterback position full-time right now if didn't have Morgan Newton moving into that position next season.

 

Personally, I don't like the UK coaching staff's decision, but........

The only reason I can see why Brooks wont start Cobb, is because he wants Cobb to get plenty of experience at Receiver. So when the freshman QB's come next year, he will be an experienced receiver for them to throw too...Because Brooks can't be dumb, its obvious Cobb is the better QB for this team this year. So he has to just be trying to get him as much experience at receiver for next year..

Was the special teams coach at UK when Brooks first started? Because it seems once Brooks gets rid of those guys, that is when they start to do better. Once he got rid of offensive coordinator a few years ago and let Joker take over they started doing better offensively till this year. Then when we got the new defensive coordinator things started doing better. So now just need the new special teams coach.
