October 24, 200817 yr ref9, check your post again you have us playing the Hogs twice. Tennessee weak, just beat the Bullgogs 35-3 and throw out the records its Bama/vols and its always a hard game. You should have known that. Saban's return to LSU will be a very hard game. Ark. State should be easy, but I said the samething about Monroe, every game is got to have respect. Bulldogs play Bama tough. Always. Auburn....you sure you know football? I know football well, and I know that Alabama's remaining schedule is weaker than many SECer's would admit. Tenness is 3 -4 at this point (Below average season) and was blown out by a weak UCLA, LSU showed that the can be beaten by Florida 51-21, Arkansas State we don't even have to talk about, a weak Mississippi State and an Auburn team that is in disaray. Auburn was just pounded by a less than average West Virginia. So yes as I said Alabama has an excellent shot at the National Championship game due to their remaining weak schedule!

Bulldogs play Bama tough. Always. Auburn....you sure you know football? The problem is that those are bigger "names" this year than "games." Sure Tennessee will be tough because that's a huge rivalry for the Tide, but the computers won't think much of a win over UT. Arkansas State is better than Monroe from last year and Bama will have to be prepared, but they still don't hold any name recognition. Mississippi State might play Alabama tough, but bottom line they are 2-5. And Auburn is the Iron Bowl and it will be close, but if they are 5-6 going into the game, they aren't what people thought. Bottom line, the casual fan will see "Alabama 34 Tennessee 20" and think, hey nice win over a good team. "Alabama 24 Auburn 21," always a tough game, huh. "Alabama 28 Mississippi State 17," it's always a struggle with them. But realistically, when diving in, they aren't that great of wins - THIS YEAR. With all that being said, Alabama is a really good team.
October 24, 200817 yr Tenness is 3 -4 at this point (Below average season) and was blown out by a weak UCLA Tennessee lost 27-24 in overtime to UCLA. Hardly being blown out. LSU showed that the can be beaten by Florida 51-21 So getting beat on the road by a top 10 team proves you're weak? The only thing weak about that is your argument. Bama also has to go to LSU for that one. What you're also conveniently forgetting to mention is that if Alabama beats LSU, they'll get another game against either Georgia or Florida.

I would most likely say that Auburn, Miss. St. and UT are 3 of the bottom 4 teams in the SEC this season (with Arkansas).

Ohio State loses to the #1 team in the nation on the road, and some on this website says their weak. Let's just be fair!
October 24, 200817 yr Not saying that at all, but we have to be fair. Ohio State is annihilated by the #1 team in the nation on the road, and some on this website says their weak. Let's just be fair! I fixed it for you.

I think most just felt that they were over rated, many of us still do. Though the QB change seems to be a good adjustment.
October 24, 200817 yr This weekend will have a huge impact on the BCS. #1 vs #6, #8 vs #23, #7 vs #13, and #3 vs #9.
October 24, 200817 yr vols might beat us. LSU should be a favorite and remember Bama has to play in the SEC and if some teams are a little down don't blame Bama for playing and beating them.
