Hey, no disrespect intended and I hope you didn't take it that way. I am sure you are a good person who is giving your honest opinion. You are correct, a message or even several messages on a message board won't carry a great deal of weight where-as coaches, teachers and community opinions do. I guess I have heard it so much from everywhere as our players have that I am a little touchy about the subject because it is that persauna I have to change (at least in the minds of the players) or our season will go up in flames. The best I can remember your posts are predominantly positive and your opinions seem honest. I do appreciate your input and honest input to stimulate positive discussions is what the BGP is all about!

No offense to you House of Pain but if you can't stop Pineville's ground game how in the world can you stop Bell's??????? You can only play 11 on the field at a time.

We must have been at different games. Special teams failed, the kicker failed, the offensive line failed, the defensive line failed, the team failed. They lost from the first play and never came close to winning or leading or even making the game interesting.

 

As for McCreary Central, I believe their program is improving, but even though 1 player isn't the team losing an ahtlete like Watts is a huge blow. Bell will win very easily.

McCreary hits a 3 at the Buzzer and the final score reads Bell 86-McCreary-3.

Bell Co. 68-0.

With Watts it would have been a blow out. Without Watts mcreary will not have a chance of moving the ball on Bell.

Just looked that stats in the paper for Pineville vs. MCC. They had nearly as much total offense against MCC as they had the other games combined. As Lee Corso would say "Whoooa."

 

 

It will not be pretty.

If Pineville can do what they did to McCreary without Watts,

this will not be good. Continuous clock for the whole 2nd half.

(This would have been an ugly game with Watts in it.)

BCHS will score in the 70's. MCC will not score unless it is late in the ball game.

Thanks 1968isaac, that is all we ask of our players is to play as hard as they can for 4 quarters. Good character is a successfull trait and I know our kids have character. Thanks again!

I would like to say that the Pineville game was bad but Watts being out only played an emotional part as far as the 'D' was concerned. We knew our offensive would be way different but our kids just got down emotionally on 'D' and that happens sometimes when a player like Watts (who everyone looks to to make the big play) is out. We are working hard to get our kids focused and restore their confidence. Don't get me wrong we have no pipe dreams for Friday, we just want our kids to play hard and play with confidence and if they do that I think the Bell fans will be saying" how in the world did Pineville beat this team"? However, we need to get that confident swagger back this week in practice! See you all on Log Mountain, I always love going there because of the great football fans and atmosphere!
