We just ordered a Cuisinart Water Purifier. Anyone have one?

 

 

 

 

 

Holds 2 gallons. Sits on your counter top. Dispense cold, room temp. and hot water.

It amazes me that people complain over $3 gasoline, however will pay $1 for 20oz. of water.

My wife buys bottled water whenever it is on sale from Kroger's, Walgreen's, etc, then we reuse the bottles until they literally stated leaking! We in Boone County are lucky to have our tap water come from Cincinnati as it is clean, safe and taste great too!

I have a water cooler, and I use it religiously. I always order water at a restaurant, and sometimes I can tell it came from a nasty tap. Growing up we had a cistern, so tap water wasn't really too high on my list.

I sometimes buy bottled water only when I have to get it.

A dude I work with won't drink bottled water because he says the plastic and what not comes off into the water and you drink it. He has 6 glass bottles that he packs with him everyday that has Well Water in them.

I stopped buying bottled water 9 months ago purely for environmental purposes but I always knew it was a scam. They ran those tests 2 yrs ago and reported it on dateline.

1. Bad for the environment

2. More expensive

3. Likely the same as tap water

I like the machines some of the stores have where you can refill your bottles. I'm just wondering how they tap into that spring convienently running under the store.

No bottled water for me - seems like a waste of money.

 

:thumb: Not too mention, I have yet to find bottled water that doesn't taste like bottled water. :lol:

I've never perceived bottled water to be anything more than just that, water in a bottle. I often times will reuse bottles SEVERAL times. And what do I fill it up with, the finest filtered water money can buy, NOT!!! I got to the fountain, usually at the gym, on campus, or at work, and refill my bottle. In fact I did it ten minutes ago before this class I'm in now.

 

If you're honestly buying bottled water thinking it's that much better than the water from your fountain then you're kinda silly, c'mon it's water people.
