Conner plays two Varsity back-to-back!

If any QB in the area, state, or possibly country can do it though I'd roll with Nick West. I can't say enough how much he impressed me against Ryle. The fact that he suited up was great. The fact that he played was amazing. The fact that he responded the way he did when his number was called with the game and playoffs on the line is unbelievable. Someone could seriously write a book about it if they made a run toward state.

 Wow, just a tad over the top, don't ya' think?

Trosper is taking a chance to be second-guessed bigtime on this one. Can they do it? Sure. Is it the smartest thing to do? Probably not. If any injury occurs on Saturday - be it caused from playing on such short rest or just by happenchance, he leaves himself open to some serious criticism. There is a reason you don't see this happen very often (ever?). Football is a pretty demanding game - even at the high school level - and playing a second game 16 hours after the first has ended seems unnecessarily risky. That being said, good luck to Conner!!

I think it was best said by one of the Fri night radio announcers at the Fri Bellvue vs Dayton game...."Nick West is my fantasy QB the rest of the season........."

Lots of ibuprofen and ice in the near future... Should be a set of good games.

Yep, saw it first hand. And yes, it was impressive and he is impressive. Topic for book, though? Probably not. ;):D

I know when I played I wasn't right until Monday at the earliest after a Friday night game. I question the move to play two games in a two day span.

Ryle? Simon Kenton?:thumb:

I'm with the others on here, you are physically spent the next day after a Friday night game, I couldn't imagine going out and playing another game.

I don't care how you spin it. Not a good idea, no matter the outcome.

Conner better have a great conditioning program.

Wow its going to be a tough two days for Conner. I remember when I played Friday night that Saturday I was spent. Good luck to the boys and Sunday you will be sleeping in late.

I guess I could say a lot, but instead I'll say little.

Belmont is bad. They are very bad. I'll surmise that this will be the equivilant of a JV game for the Cougars on Saturday.
