October 14, 200818 yr Raw and Delirious are my two favorite specials by far, so I'll go with Eddie Murphy. Juff Dunham a close 2nd...
October 14, 200818 yr Dave Chappelle's "Killing 'em Softly" is the funniest stand up routine I've ever heard. I've only heard a little bit of Daman Wayans, but what I did hear had me rolling. Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor are definitely some classics. I like George Carlin, but honestly haven't heard enough by him. Some more recent guys I've been partial to are Dane Cook, the late Mitch Hedberg, and definitely some Nick Swardson.
October 14, 200818 yr Author I think Carlins ability to mix comedy with intelligence is what maked him so good. Yes his content and jokes are as good as anyone, but the man has so much knowledge, and doesnt just talk about random thoughtless topics like many of our comedians today.
October 14, 200818 yr In no particular order, but these guys immediately come to mind: Dave Chappelle Mitch Hedberg Bill Cosby Richard Pryor Robin Williams George Carlin Eddie Murphy Don Rickles Sam Kinison
October 14, 200818 yr While I think Chapelle is very good, he's better at sketch comedy. You can't go wrong with Murphy or Pryor.
October 14, 200818 yr I can't stand Dane Cook for some reason. Are we talking about stand up comic or what? Dane Cook's act can get old...
October 14, 200818 yr Mike Birbiglia Daniel Tosh Dave Attell Dave Chappelle Greg Giraldo Ted Alexandro Ron White Rodney Carrington Those are a few of my favorites.
